In a couple of months I'll be starting Calc 3. At my college, this is defined as, "Vectors and three-dimensional analytic geometry. Partial derivatives and Lagrange multipliers. Multiple integrals. Vector calculus, line and surface integrals. Green's Theorem, Stokes' Theorem, and the Divergence Theorem."

If I want to do some review over the summer, are there particular parts of Calc 1 and/or 2 that I should focus on to be as prepared as possible?

I took calc 3 about six years after I took calc 2. I did no real review and found calc 3 then diff eq to be easy. If you feel the need to review go to PatrickJMT website. You can review those areas where you have weaknesses.

Try some old calculus 1 and 2 final exams from your school. Review the topics you find hard on those final exams, if necessary.

I also had a decently long break between my last math class of calc 2 before I took calc 3. It wasn’t as bad as I expected. Just brush up on your basic integrals/derivatives and some of the trig functions if you want, and you should be fine.
