"Preppy"

<p>Part of the problem is that we are assuming people can only fit into one category. For example, I often hear the word "hipster" used to denote someone who is neither a preppy nor a hippie, but someone in-between; a more urban member of the cool crowd. Such a person would not be uncomfortable in a t-shirt, jeans and a baseball cap.</p>

<p>There are probably lots of people who would fall into each of these categories at one time or another.</p>

<p>In post #7 acarta says Boston University is preppy. I think he means Boston College. They are very very very different schools.</p>

<p>Very funny stereotypical preppies :)</p>
