Prerequisite nightmare

I am going to be a sophomore this upcoming semester, and I was supposed to be in General Physics 2 at the start of the semester. I had a prerequisite issue earlier because I was misplaced in a lower-level math, and it’s resulted in me having to have to take General Physics 1 and Calculus 2 over the summer.

For me, this isn’t a problem because I can handle these classes, but at the last minute, the physics course I planned to take at a nearby college was cancelled due to low enrollment!

To make matters worse, no college in the area but that one offered the course I am REQUIRED to take. Specifically, the course needs a concurrent lab and lecture. Now I have found a college that offers the lecture and lab, but they are in different sessions.

I am holding my breath to see if my school will accept this. Has anyone else had similar issues or have advice?

Just make sure whether the colleges you plan on transferring to require all physics courses to be taken at the same institution. In CA where I attend CC if you plan on transferring to the UCs you must take all the physics series ( 1A, 1B 1C and 1D for me) at the SAME institution.
