Prerequisite Requirements

If you have different colleges in mind to transfer to. Should you complete prerequisite requirements for all of them? According to my major prerequisites requirements from assist.org are very similar , but some need additional courses.

Also on a side note if anyone could also answer this question. While in High School I took Language Courses, but for reasons that I regret now failed those classes. So UC’s require advanced language courses to be admitted I believe. So would I have to take introduction classes first and work my way up to the advanced courses?

Note: I’d rather ask here cause I’m a freshmen at CCC and counselors aren’t really that helpful. So would like some help. Please and Thank you

Well, I would assume it is probably best to complete the prerequisites for all of the colleges you are interested in attending. If you can, take the additional courses, or don’t apply to the school. But, I would also check how strictly specific school policies are about transfer course requirements.

Yes, take language courses. They are required in college anyway. I’m not sure how ‘advanced’ the UCs are expecting the courses to be, so I would double check whether intro college courses would suffice.
Just wondering, how did you graduate high school without passing a language class? In my state, it’s a requirement for high school graduates.

In all, it sounds like if you spend 2 years at your local CCC, you will have a better shot at the UCs.

I have a very difficult story, but it ends that I got suspended from my Original HS and got transferred to an “Alternative” high school and graduated from there. Now I’m at a local CCC , but Idk how that will affect me during the transfer process also.
