i have to give a college presentation, about a common theme within various texts...the material wont be a problem, its not too hard

but originality counts for something i imagine; what are some clever ideas/enhancements for giving this presentation instead of just standing in front of the class and giving it?

When you applied to college I am sure when they estimated your potential and aptitude they had "ask how to do an assignment on CC" in mind. You're earning your degree right here.

Honestly, though? I'd say theme it around Air Guitar and Trollz. Who didn't love those little fellas?

Are you asking for WAYS t0 presenting your idea?

Because I had to do something like this at school (my topic was teens, sub categories: homosexuality, drugs, sex, depression - 10min long) and I did it on a powerpoint presentation - presented it on a projector (My immature class seemed pretty amused at pictures of gay people holding hands and 2 teens in bed together, fully clothed - it wasnt even meant to be funny.. just pictures to decorate my powerpoint page).

I handed out quizzes when I was talking, and asked them to fill it out, and told them if they scored 5+ or whatever, they had to go see a counselor because they had depression haha.

And I showed them a little clip of a teen movie ("not another teen movie") and it was the part where these girls threw water at this other girl and called her mean things (you have to see it to understand the funnyness).

I got some people to come up and act out couple of scenes from the movie (like asking one to have sex but she's hesistant, etc..) and tell the class how they felt (they were laughing hysterically with vague answers: "hehehehehe i felt nervous?..ahhaahahaha!").

And i cant remember the other things but i remember that at the end, i gave them a crossword puzzle with teen-related words to find. It must've been perplexing because they were all into it and basically muted out the next presenter..
