<p>"On Thursday, July 1, President Obama will deliver a major policy address on immigration reform. The event, which is by invitation only, will take place in the atrium of the new School of International Service building around 10:45 a.m.</p>

<p>Security for the event will be heavy. Only attendees approved by the White House will be allowed near the building. The university appreciates the understanding of the campus and neighboring community during this event.</p>

<p>Did anyone happen to be taking a tour/at freshmen orientation that day?</p>

<p>My D was at orientation during the President’s visit. She said only those pre ticketed were allowed to attend, but she did see secret service and there was a great buzz on campus. It was very exciting for the incoming class!</p>
