President of Sr. Class or Student Body President

President of Sr. Class or Student Body President

Does one look better on college applications than the other ?

I would guess Student Body since it implies you would represent a larger group of people than just the Senior Class. Goodluck!

That’s what I thought too but figured I should check.

Do you have both. If in that case, take both and write them down as soon as you can.

Phead128 - Son is student body pres. and can run for Sr. class pres. (would likely win)
He already has many other leadership positions so doesn’t need another but I wanted to make sure my advice to him (don’t bother to run for one more) would not hurt him when applying for college.
Anyone have any advice on schools that highly value leadership?

Demonstrated leadership (or even popularity) is wanted by ALL schools, NCM. It’s a valuable trait anywhere.

Student Body President. That is a no-brainer. Also, if your son does not want to pick up another leadership postion, let him. Don’t take this the worng way, but I think he knows his limit better than you do.
