<p>I was just about to ask the same question. Someone said in an older thread that BC brings in about 100 as finalists, but I don’t know whether that’s accurate.</p>
<p>My DS is a freshman at BC and a P-scholar. Your invitation to the all expense paid P-scholar evaluative weekend will arrive seperately from the admission decision. Last year there were 60 invited, roughly 16 invitations to join the program and 12 accepted. It’s an amazing program, including all expense paid summer programs in different parts of the world (and a stipend for doing it) unique mentorship opportunities and access to faculty.</p>

<p>My daughter received her CAS Honors acceptance today. ( we live in Colorado). Nothing about the PSP in there. I read on another thread that the PSP was sent with the admissions offer. So, based on that I asssume she will not be offered a spot. I think because the CAS letter lists the honors admitted student day program info, I think that is further evidence that the PSP folks are offered a different acceptance packet.
I guess we will have to wait and see to be sure.</p>
<p>The PSP website says finalist letters were mailed Friday, and most people got their acceptance letters by Friday, so I’m pretty sure the PSP mailings come separately. Unless BC actually held back the PSP finalists’ acceptance letters until friday.</p>

<p>What is the Honors Program at BC? I’ve visited the school and just got accepted on Friday and this is the first I’ve heard of an honors program. The summary online of it is really vague. Did you have to apply for it specifically, or do they offer? Is it only through a certain school? I’m accepted to the Carroll School and I’ve never heard of it before.</p>
<p>i think that they invite you in, so if it didn’t say in your acceptance letter, i don’t think you were offered a spot. Carrol might not even have an honors program - i was accepted to the lynch one, but still only received 3 years of housing, so i’m guessing it’s not the same as the a&s honors program</p>
<p>There are three honors programs (that I know of) at BC - Honors A&S, Honors Carroll, Honors Lynch. All are very selective (I know Carroll typically has 30 per class)</p>
<p>Honors is by invite-only and there is no way to specifically apply for it. Honors was NOT explicitly discussed in the actual acceptance letter. If you got into an honors program, your package should have had a “you’re invited” card for an honors day, and a booklet about general honors and then another booklet on your specific honors program (AS, Carroll, or Lynch).</p>
