I’m applying from Texas, 35 act, national merit semifinalist/finalist, national hispanic scholar, 4.0 gpa, all ap/honors, 5 ap Spanish 5 ap world history 5 ap us history 4 English lit 3 physics 1, I also have a sibling at Fordham. I applied to Lincoln center regular decision and was wondering what my chances are to get accepted into the honors program or get the cuniffe presidential scholarship. thanks
Don’t you automatically get full tuition if you’re a NMSF? Also I think for the honors program they look more at your essay/extracurriculars to see if you have a genuine interest in helping others and are intellectually curious. I think you can also email them to tell them you’re interested in the honors program.
From what I understand, the Presidential scholarship includes room and board, and is more competitive than the NMF scholarship which is tuition only. And the NMF is not guaranteed, but I’m sure you have a great shot at it, @NewMaryAinsworth. Good luck!
Does anyone know the stats for Presidential? It seems less holistic than some top scholarships. I know it’s top 1 percent or so of Fordham’s class but would love to hear actual results.
