Checked the mail today near Annapolis–nothing at all…

@Vctory mail check from Annapolis?

nothing today. and i am 30 minutes away

It seems like they are much later this year than they were last year :/. The first wave hasn’t even been received yet!

Just checked–nothing at all again in Annapolis (3/11).

cc: @bonee26

Problem is that deadlines are approaching for other schools (housing/enrollment deposits/orientation). UMD does not require deposits for housing but other schools do. Also cant sign up for good orientation dates because have not paid enrollment deposit because still waiting on merit aid from UMD.

I agree with you bbl. It’s getting ridiculous!!

I talked to an admissions counselor at an event they held. She said scholarships are being released later this month, like they said. She said they were early last year.

It is very nerve wracking waiting, especially since many of us thought the notices would go out last week in February, like last year.

Someone mentioned waves in a prior note. Does anyone know how the notices will go out? All in one day or in waves over a couple weeks? Anyone know if there will be an email?

We were there today so my daughter could attend a class and we met with admissions and a department advisor. Admissions said that merit letters would be going out after spring break. She wasn’t sure if it was the student spring break or the faculty break which is 2 days. So sometime in the next week or so she said to expect them. But since she didn’t know the exact date, maybe it will be earlier…

The student spring breaks ends the 24th… :(

Ugh…sounds like we will need to wait until the last week of this month based on the above.

Just got the letter (formal) acceptance into EIP, but that was it…

I’m starting to think that other scholarships might come out at the same time as bk finalists… and @Vctory where are u from? I haven’t received my formal letter from University Honors.

I thought that my son might have gotten a scholarship award letter today, but it was just a letter about University Honors. Still exciting, but not the same . . .

I guess it’s safe to assume that the next letter I receive will just be a formal acceptance to my honors program, and not a scholarship.

@astrogirl about 20 minutes out of Annapolis :)

No scholarships yet?

Nothing in New Jersey yet.

nothing 30 minutes from umd
