Prestigious Science Programs that are NOT Research Based

<p>OKay, so I'm wondering if there are any science programs out there that is not research based (like MIT). I know that the governor's school in each state for the sciences are not research based, but are there any other programs that are competitive and like the Governor's Schools in the Sciences?</p>

<p>There are the Olympiad training camps (Math, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Computing).</p>
