So I’m currently waiting for the notification of my application status in my state governor’s school/program (which I feel like most other states have as well?), but I was just curious as to how “prestigious” a program like this is compared to other typical competitive cc popular science summer programs. I’m applying to a lot and frankly I’d rather go to one of the other science research programs, since this program doesn’t offer research experience, but I was just wondering.
*I am well aware I shouldn’t base my decision on prestige. Also, note that I am leaning towards other programs because of genuine interest. So please don’t talk about how I need to think like this and this. Though I would appreciate any response!
