<p>Is anyone considering a visit on March 31st? I want to but I'm not sure if I can make it.</p>
<p>My kid registered for it. We were at SUNY last week for a tour, and my kid made the the decision to go to SUNY. I'm told that Preview Day will be a chance to learn more--see more. </p>
<p>It's a long trip for us, but my I'm guessing my kid wants to buy another t-shirt.....</p>

<p>We live in Pittsburgh, so it's a 4-hour trip. The kid's asleep for most of the drive, and always says "Wow, we're here already?" Drives me crazy.. I'm thinking about doing Greyhound someday, so I can sleep too. </p>
<p>Are you planning on going on 3/31? The summer orientation is pretty good too. They put the kids in the dorms overnight, and try to do orientation for kids with similar majors at the same time. (My older kid made friends at orientation who are still friends, even after he transferred to pursue a major not offered at SUNY)</p>
<p>No, I can't attend March 31, since I am a little farther away; about 6 hours. During the summer, I will be attending an orientation, I just don't know what date. </p>
<p>And you may want to look at airfare instead of taking a bus. I know for me (Newark-Buffalo) would be cheaper than taking a bus.</p>
<p>Integra, I noticed on another post that as an OOS student they offered merit aid to you. May I ask if you need to maintain a 3.0 to keep both of your scholarships? Thanks.</p>
<p>For my OOS scholarship I think I only need to stay OOS. But for the merit, I believe I need to maintain that 3.0 GPA.</p>

<p>My S go to the 9 am affair too . Do you know if the Honor students have their own dorm ?? their own floor in dorm ??? I hear SUNY is tight for space .</p>
<p>The honors students and athletes are in Governors, which is closer to the classrooms. We'll get to see them on 3/31 -- they have a model room in a suite, which is pretty nice.</p>
