Hey everyone! All the other classes seem to have one and as we'll be Juniors next year I thought this was a good time to create one. So talk, chat, let us know what you'll be doing to attend the school of your dreams, why you want to go to Princeton, etc.

@tcwest…I’m wearing my Princeton hoodie Haha I bet I can beat anyone here regarding the amount of paraphernalia that I own.

And yes Class of 2016 seems strange but Class of 2012 means the people who were accepted into Princeton in 2008 so we are the Class of 2016 yay!

What is your biggest barrier to being accepted into Princeton?

What is your greatest advantage?

I’ll start:

Well at the moment I’m scared to death that I’m going to get a B in this precalc class I’m taking at a university over the summer…but I just got an A on this huge test so hopefully I will be okay. Also, my school is awful. We rarely/never graduate students to top schools and the ECs at our school are very generic and boring.

Hmmm…I’m valedictorian (atm), I have a unique background, lots of APs, well-rounded, and an EC that I’m very very passionate about etc…haha I’ll think of something less vague in a moment

But we’re just a year earlier than the 2015 hopefuls…who will be seniors…I think that everyone is thinking this is the 2016 high school class but it’s the 2016 COLLEGE CLASS

^Yes… we know that… And it’s still too early to be thinking about it. Do yourself a favor and enjoy the time you still have without worrying about college admissions.

I just graduated high school and will be attending princeton. I saw this thread and realized that i started thinking about college going into junior year. I remember everyone telling I should wait until the end of junior year, but I happened to think that this is the right time to start thinking about it and even if its not, If you guys are anything like me, once you have started thinking about it, you won’t be able to stop.

So, as I empathize with your situation, I am glad to answer any questions any one may have. Feel free to ask me as a person who has gone through this process and been accepted to Princeton.
