I took the sat subject test today - math I and spanish. I want to major in math, biochemistry or creative writing. I took sat II in spanish because I have a B in a spanish course, so I want to compensate for that grade through sat II. Are my choices of SAT II tests bad? Wiill it hurt my chances of admissions?

If you want to major in biochem or math, I probably would have taken Math II, not I. Don’t beat yourself up, though; what’s done is done and if you do really well, I would think it’ll be fine. Many schools will let you take the January tests and simply turn in your apps by the Jan deadline. For those institutions, have you considered taking Math II and a science such as. Bio or Chem? It would look good if you wind up majoring in math or biochem.

yeah, i’m planning on taking the sats in january. I didn’t do math I today because i’m an international student and the course order here is a little different. I won’t be learning the math level 2 stuff until next term, but yeah, I’ll probably do it then.
