Princeton application after starting undergrad??

I read on Princeton’s website that they don’t accept transfers and supposedly if you’ve already started college anywhere else you can’t apply “Princeton does not offer spring semester entry or a transfer admission option. If you already have started a college or university degree program elsewhere, you are not eligible to apply for admission to Princeton.” So even if I start university for a year and then apply to admission for Princeton, willing to start undergrad from zero, I’m not eligible?
If not, what if I simply don’t mention that I’ve started university? Can you even do that?

I would suggest applying to schools that accept transfers. If you gain admission through dishonest means there are more serious character issues at play. Furthermore it would be grounds for dismissal if ever discovered. There are other great schools out there…check them out.

? Can you even do that?
no. All colleges check this site - National Student Clearinghouse- for all enrollment history of students at US colleges.
http://www.studentclearinghouse.org/about/

“More than 3,600 colleges and universities participate in the Clearinghouse, reporting enrollment and degree information to us regularly throughout the year
Participants enroll 98% of all students in public and private U.S. institutons”

dont even bother thinking you can get into Princeton or any US college without them discovering any and all previous enrollments at another college.
