Sooo, something that I’ve kinda been wondering about for a while, and before you go ugh another interview question hear me out:
I received an email that looked something like this on February 17:
Dear (Me),
Thank you for applying to Princeton University. As part of the application process we try to offer all applicants the opportunity to talk with an alumni volunteer. This will be an opportunity for you to learn more about the Princeton experience and for us to learn more about you, in a relaxed and informative conversation.
Please expect to be contacted via email or telephone by (redacted) a member of the Princeton interview committee in your area, to arrange a convenient meeting time and place.
Sincerely,
Princeton Admission Office
110 Morrison Hall
Princeton, NJ 08542
The thing is not only did I not receive any sort of contact from this person, I also had been emailed a couple of other times already by the Princeton club in my area about scheduling an interview, which I couldn’t do because all of their slots filled up. It all felt a little strange to me, especially because I didn’t receive this email until MID February, and I would think that they would want to already have all of their interviews in by then. Does this match anyone else’s experiences? I’m not saying that it’s a good or bad thing, I’m just curious with the decision notification approaching.
