Damn man, you are a really interesting applicant! You’d definitely catch the eyes of adcom, no doubt, and Princeton is an admirable goal man. At this point in the game, Princeton is still a reach, if you get that SAT in the 2000s though, I think your chances will surge. You have an amazing academic record though man! I think you should look into schools like Tufts, BC, Cornell, and some of those great schools too just in case. Real respect though
See above @TheSuperSoph, I scored a 2100 on the June SAT! I have Cornell and Dartmouth on my mind, but I do not know much about Tufts. I will look into it though! Hehe Girl Power
Thanks pal
Princeton Class of 2020 for you..
Yeah you have a great chance
not perfect, but pretty decent chacne
fam
u have an extremely high chance with math HL. priceton seems to prefer AP over IB. I am a Kumon instructor too. well… you have a lot of HLs. yes. I can see Princeton accepting you.

I meant to say Princeton prefers IB over AP.
Does Princeton prefer IB over AP because of their comprehensive program where you need to take certain classes from outside your field? Also I feel like the Extended Essay portion of IB mirrors the Senior Thesis aspect of Princeton so I wanna emphasis that in my supplement essay xD @peanut10
Also thanks am @TheSuperSoph
I dont THINK they care about your EE. But they are really accepting of IB students in general(you are required to HL in English and History, and IBDP strives to turn its students into risk takers and world leaders which aligns with Princeton’s goals). your HLs, honestly, I do not know what to say. Princeton wants a strong academic foundation, yours is beyond strong. well, I guess your volunteer activities ceases to matter much at this point because of IB’s CAS.
I think you have a high chance for Princeton. but this is just an opinion

Very true. I appreciate your input @peanut10, best of luck on your endeavors! I just chanced your thread
UPDATE
So I scored a 32 on the ACT and I think I have a 33 superscore for it. So happy about this!
Could someone weigh in on this? Should I send both my 2100 SAT and 32 ACT scores to Princeton? I got a 680 on the math for the sat, but a 33 on the math for the ACT so I feel like that’s the only reason I would need to do that. What do you guys think?
bump - i have absolutely no idea on what i should do
Yeah I would send both probably. A 33 on math is much better than a 680 in my opinion
I would Princeton is a low reach if you have amazing essays. Good luck!
@pieguy321 Thanks! I will keep you and everyone updated as I go through the college application process.
In general, I think I will send both my SAT & ACT scores. Although, it will be fairly costly for my family. I am applying to the Ivies first for financial reasons, and second for the various programs each school has. My decision was made to apply to all eight when my father told me he can’t afford to pay college tuition for me.
I don’t know if anyone has informed you, but you cannot have five IB HL classes. For IB Diploma candidates, the minimum number of HLs is three and the max is four. You will not be eligible for the IB Diploma with five and you may want to consider dropping one of your HLs to SL.
I am well aware @DreamToRedeem. I am taking Spanish HL when I am taking the SL exam my senior year. There is nothing wrong with me taking Spanish HL since I enjoy being immersed in various cultures.
I don’t think Princeton necessarily prefers IB to AP. Even if you have taken no APs, you are not at a disadvantage, as long as your school did not offer them to you. You can’t punish someone because their school offered AP instead of IB. Adcoms look at you in the context of your school.
Any other thoughts?
