Princeton Class of 2025 -- Regular Decision

Did you apply to only US Universities or Abroad too?

Only to Yale-Nus which is in Singapore and also I am accepted to a university in Russia

That’s sick! Congratulations! Which US universities did you apply? Except Stanford, Princeton, Uchicago?

You there?

I applied to Yale, Harvard, Vassar, Babson, NYU, Cornell, Columbia, RISD, USC and some others

Cool! I was wondering how you got rejected from Stanford REA? Most of the guys from our year got in. Did you apply for Financial Aid?

Yeah, I applied for fin aid as international. Maybe that was the case

Yeah, Stanford Financial Aid is not very generous :frowning:

Anyway, congratulations on acceptance) hoping to get somewhere, too!

hey! if you guys could please communicate via private massaging that’d be great. You are spamming this thread with information irrelevant to the topic (Princeton 2025). Thanks!

Just got my interview!!! From a person from my region too (Central valley) so pretty excited about that…

On another thread, someone posted a link yesterday to an article on Bloomberg.com in which a Princeton spokesman said that the university received more than 37,000 applications this year, which is a 15% increase from the total number of RD and EA applications from the previous year (32,836).

The good news for prospective students is that hopefully a good number of applicants will end up committing to their SCEA or ED2 schools and will pull from P… hopefully.

Does anyone know if Princeton has a general deadline for Alumni interview completion. DS received the “you will be contacted by an Alumnus” interview notice from Admissions about 10 days ago, however the Alumnus has yet to make any contact to schedule the interview.

Was interviewed yesterday. In your place I would call admissions office and ask.

This year interviewers are supposed to submit their comments/reports to the admission office by February 21. So if your son hasn’t heard from the interviewer in the next day or two, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to send the interviewer a polite email to get the process rolling.

I marked that I wanted to have an interview if possible on my common app but I haven’t been contacted for one or even gotten the “heads up” email yet. I don’t know if interviews are by area again this year, but I live in Northern New Jersey so I’m in no way in an area without many Princeton alumni. Anyone in a similar situation? Is there anything I should do or is this normal?

There are lot more students from NJ. So alumni may not have time. Also last year 98 percent of them were interviewed. So there are some who were not interviewed. Also they may still schedule interviews. Yale EA had interviews almost up until the week before decision

Why son just received an email today, so they are still coming.
