I agree that such phishing websites might exist - but they can’t host such scam pages under the princeton.edu domain.
Nevertheless, yes - just wait a week.

Is anyone able to sign up for a Princeton Preview Session? Tried to do so and it simply said the following “Princeton Preview is offered to admitted applicants only. You may register for one day.”
(You have to scroll down a bit)
The Princeton Preview Portal will open for registration a day after decisions are released. If admitted, you will be able to access it with your applicant log in info on March 31st…
Does princeton count a lot the fact that someone has his sister and dad mum?
Is it 99.9% admittance probability like for harvard?
What?? And what??
I mean, if someone has his sister and mum that went to princeton, will he get admitted?
Is legacy consideration a big decision factor at princeton (as harvard)?
legacy helps. Sure. But not siblings. Parent only.
And what tells u that legacy has a 100% admit rate? that’s garbage
That’s completely untrue - for Harvard, Princeton or any other selective school.
Having a sibling who is attending/has attended will get your application flagged and it will be noted during review, but ultimately you need to be a fit for Princeton iteself and academically able to handle the courseload. Any student you stop and ask on Princeton’s campus will tell you that the classes are very hard, and very time consuming. Same for legacy - it it not a guaranteed “in” although legacy is very important to Princeton, they have a wonderful alumni network.
According to the last stats I saw – and this figure is several years old – the admit rate for legacies at Princeton was around 30%. Of course, some of those students have other hooks as well (e.g., recruited athletes).
Ok so this may be some useless astrology but when I logged into my fin aid portal today the URL had “freshman” in it rather than the usual “first-year” when I clicked on the button to load my fin aid portal. Like a second after the URL refreshed and it showed the usual “first-year” instead of freshman. I tried logging in again and the same thing happens: starts with freshman and then changes to first-year. I don’t remember ever seeing freshman there but I could be wrong. Hopefully it means something as It would be my first acceptance. idk whether this is me reading into things or if I just never noticed it before, but I was wondering if anyone else had this?
4 days and you will know…
Can you share the link?
There’s no link for it, I just logged into applicant portal, scrolled to bottom, clicked on “visit the financial aid portal” and straight away the new URL loads containing the word freshman, but then refreshes and contains first year
if you mean the URL I see, then it’s just “https://finaidapp.princeton.edu/FinAid/login” and after login it says either freshman or first-year
Just tried this, and I only see first-year…
maybe try again and look at the URL straight away It changes very quickly after for me. Also it’s the very first page of the financial aid portal before the one that shows your documents on it
You’re right! Got freshman too, but just us two isn’t enough for it to mean anything.
For our sake, I do hope it does mean something lol.
for everyone!
