On the topic that was brought to the table yesterday on a drop in Princeton apps for particular reasons, I must add that my interviewer mentioned such for my region too. I’m from Mississippi, so applications here are obviously still minimal noting the small population of Princeton students from Mississippi, yet my interviewer said that I was the only EA applicant he had heard of from the state so far. Take it with a grain of salt but that too may be some additional information for y’all.

@gmanhax for some reason since we got back from thanksgiving my teachers have given me so little homework i have no idea what to do with myself!!! Besides working on other college apps (hopefully i never have to submit them!!!) ive been doing nothing but waiting for the email for the admission date!! I cant wait for the decision so i can stop thinking about it!!
Same! I can’t believe we are the only early Ivy applicants who are still being left in the dark-- unbelievable! Trying to resist the urge to scream every 5 minutes but I’m so anxious.
@Pumpkin99 Just our luck right??? I wish they would just give us a date! Half this thread is speculation of when our admission date is.
@GabyTinch @Pumpkin99 Keep this on the DL, but my GC used to work at Princeton and has some friends there-- she said the admissions office has some sort of party scheduled for night of the 15th, so the release date will definitely be either the 14th or the 15th.
Also, last year, Princeton didn’t tell its applicants the admission date until 2 DAYS before, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the date is officially released on Monday the 12th.
So anxious!
@gmanhax it would be right in the middle of finals (at least for my high school). I mean i expected it be but just the added stress of finals ill be lucky if i can make it through the week

@VenomBuds That makes sense! I did not know it was so imprecise. Sorry about that. Yes, it was nine on November 2nd, but I don’t know how many of those nine actually turned it in on November 1st.
I’m in the middle of exams so in theory I should be distracted enough.

Over this week and next I’m supposed to have to work on at least three major papers and film and edit some videos – but I end up spending most of my time waiting for updates & lurking on here…sigh

Are cornell and upenn the only ones getting admissions this week?? I think columbia also but i could be wrong

Yes. I had my interview about two weeks ago, and judging by many of the other participants in this thread, many of us have also had our interviews around the same time. @linusben
@linusben yes i had my interview two weeks ago but i know that not everyone has the opportunity to have an interview if you live in an area where there are no princeton alumni
