Princeton Class or 2021 EA / RD Application thread

@NotIvyYet I’m starting it today haha

@NotIvyYet @samc24 Wow, I’m so clueless about this stuff. The PFAA has to submitted by November 1???

@deeeznuts yessir
That is, if you’re applying REA.
If RD, I think it’s Feb 1 or something

@samc24

thanks. I just looked into it and I’m glad you guys mentioned it! I just thought you did the FAFSA and you were done lololol

And thats the PFAA submitted and done! I suppose I’ll be hearing more from this thread in the coming month and a half. Best of luck to all other applicants!

@Pburgmom you were right! I checked their common data set, and it lists the interview as ‘considered’ while other things are listed as ‘very important’ and ‘important’.
P.S. : Still haven’t gotten an email.

Could you guys chance me?

@icarus29 You are unlikely to be contacted for an alumni interview until after the application due date. My son was a recruited athlete so had his application in well before Nov 1 and still did not hear from anyone for an interview until into November.

@icarus29 I was contacted for the interview today, so I guess it just depends on availability.

What if I forgot to put something in my application (my AMC scores)? Do I email them separately?

@JuicyMango Can you upload it through the Admissions Portal?

@samc24 I was contacted today as well!!

@JuicyMango upload it using the admissions portal, and write a cover mail regarding the same to uaoffice@princeton.edu

Hmm can someone give me a link to the admissions portal? I can’t find it anywhere :/.

I submitted my Princeton SCEA application late in the evening of 11/1, and I still haven’t received a confirmation notice that they received my application. Should I be concerned?

@JuicyMango apply.princeton.edu/apply/status

Was also contacted today for my interview. Any advice?

@18collegebound I’m not sure how lenient Princeton is with deadlines but one way to check is to go on your Princeton section of the Common App. If your recs or your writing supplement say “Downloaded” next to them (as opposed to just “Submitted”) then you’re good to go. Otherwise I would wait a few days then email the undergrad admissions office (uaoffice@princeton.edu). You did get a confirmation email from Common App though right?

@sunrisereader When did you submit your app? I haven’t been contacted for an interview yet… Maybe try to set up a mock interview with a family friend or through your school’s counseling services. Good luck! When is your interview?

Ohh OK nevermind I got an email with all the information about how to access the portal
