***Like i understand my standarized scores arent exactly the cream of the crop but im insanely involved in school and outside activities including sports, honor societies, and research...so "how i is?"

have you thought about taking the ACT? some people who have trouble with the SAT have better luck with the ACT

No shot with your SAT score... sorry...

Your SAT score essentially destroys your chances. Get a higher SAT, i.e. 2200+ or don't bother applying.

hmmm..i guess ur right. but shouldnt my extra currics buffer that out?

You may have alot of EC's, but none of them REALLY stand out. Alot of advisory postions, do they count as leadership??

mid 2100's will put you in the game. i would reconsider applying ED if you can't break 1400 M+V.

What would be a good ACT score?

While ur ec's are pretty solid, im not sure that they do really stand out either. i mean, you're involved in a lot of clubs, but they all seem to be academically oriented (cept bball) and none seemed to be geared toward other types of activities (i.e. service, cultural exploration, student gov, etc.). i mean, u do have a lot of volunteer hours, but it seems that they're geared simply toward ur resume, which will be obvious. service hours done consistently with the same purposes and organizations look a lot better than 400 random volunteer hours. it wont matter that you are asian, because u guys typically have the best resumes neway. ur sat score obviously needs some work as well. so im not sure of ur chances. perhaps u should consider less of a reach

Get at least a 31/32, but aim for a 33/34 on the ACT in order to have a shot.
