zantedeschia, i'm not worried about my chances at brown. i was merely pointing out that i wish i knew i would get into princeton like my friend knows she is getting into brown.

Yeah, I know...don't we all...it's a good thing to be an athlete come college admissions time....

Well, it's not guaranteed for her, but I see what you mean...yea I don't feel like I have anything that's going to help me stand out (not even kentucky, Kebree =)

haha..or try this: being from KY and only having attended 2 yrs of an actual school! how's that for fitting a KY stereotype/being 'rare' at Princeton? i don't like running around barefoot, though, heh.
That just cracks me up about your long distance CC relationship...i love it...i thought something was up when I saw your stats at the pr site and he was from OR...

Incidentally, did the adcom people tell you about pton's 'mrs' degree success rate? ...70%! No joke! Now I know why ;)

Zant: You have a LOT to make you stand out, whoaaa.

What what do I have? The Cube? GPA? Please!

jk, guys.....though the 70% figure is real, as scary as that is.

I feel as though posting anything related to college admissions would detract from the mood. So I won't.

70% what? Girls who marry princeton guys?

It's the ED 'Lounge'...not all college admission talk (and I'm glad of it)...

70% of pton students marry other pton students
crazy, i know
..and completely true, no kidding

wow
when they said strong alumni connections...i didn't think it was like that
although, this girl from my school does have double legacy because of it...

haha, i know...take that app seriously, odds are it'll REALLY affect the rest of your life...i still can't get over the 70%, that's just so funny...the place is a virtual marriage mill.

70% Wow... I remember Swarthmore talking about "special connections" and boasting it's 16% number.

That's insane.

Georgetown has a pretty high rate too I think. Lots of alums go back to get married there.

And Uchicago I think? They don't get out much...

Wait. It's 70%? Someone last year told me it was 60%. Wow. That scares me even more. If I get into Princeton, I'll spending the next four years wondering if I'll end up marrying another Princetonian. Haha. It'd be funny to introduce yourself on the first day by saying, "Hi. Did you know that 70% of Princeton students marry one another? That means there's an overwhelming chance I'll be marrying you. Scary, huh?" ;-)

lol yea way to come on too strong.
but it's understandable, Princeton has all the hot people of course =)

yeah, what a pick-up line...

Whoa, SCORES ARE IN!!!!!! I got an 800 in writing, how'd that happen...I had to stop mid-paragraph....got nice graders, I guess ;)
720 on Math iic...not so hot, but hey, I'll take it...i'm a humanities person in a big way and would not major in science if someone held a gun to my head (ok,ok so maybe I would)...
