Never before have I wanted to be so black...

hahah

Not all roses being asian either =/

It's probably not all roses being white either.

I'm more like one of those wishy-things instead of a rose. You know, those white starry fluffy things that you sometimes see floating around in the air? Yeah... those are pretty cool.

sweet, MDawg, haha. Definitely sounds like a plan. And maybe we can all agree that it's just not all roses being a human being period. Viruses are the ones who have all the fun ;-)

Lots of talk about roses.

MDawg, you do rotary right? What events have u guys organized this year?

I'm in the rotary club in my school.

I don't take part in the club. I think their club picked students from my school as students of the month (Top 8 males, top 8 females). I'm lead to believe that it's a group of adults. I start going to meetings in November, so I'll know more about it then. All the guidance counselor kept telling us was that it was a great honor. That was about it.

I think you will all be delighted to see my stats:

Rank 50/432
SAT I: 1530 (800v, 730m)
SAT II: Lit 710, Writing 780, US 780

So don't fear, your odds of getting in have just increased.

I don't get it...

Yeah, wtf? You're scores are fine.

hahaha well compared to your number one rankings.....

being outside the top 10% does not bode well for me.

of the 581 accepted ED students, only 46 were outside top 10%, and they were probably URMs or recruited athletes.

bah.

Yea but a lot of schools don't rank or have percentage things...only about 50% of the schools report that. Gotta read the fine print =)

I'm applying to Princeton ED...and am very nervous/not confident...anyone else feel this way? My stats are in my prstats profile under cavalier302.

Yeah, I think we all do to a certain degree, cavalier. But hey, just throw all that anxiety into the wind and give it your best shot. It'll be fun. Really :-)

Okay, so I just completed my application online (sidenote: yeeeessss-ah!), but it won't let me send it. Stupid errors. Crap.

By the way, I just wanted to say that everyone so far is looking pretty good. I think you've all got great chances, greater than "average" at least.

The application is f'ed up.

I guess I am just gonna hafta print it out and send it in, that way I can fix my essays (indent and all), and also so that I can include some other extras.

When i print it out from online, it cuts off a letter or two from the side...is that supposed to happen? I actually think it's really ugly printed out, so I hope the site starts working again so I can send it online.

I'm applying ED along with 5 or 6 other kids out of my class of 84 (including my boyfriend, isn't that the makings of a disaster?). It's crazy. My arts form's done and about to be sent, but the app...? yeah...that's another story. Look forward to getting to know y'all over the next very tense two months.
Jennie

looks like you're set to come to the east coast=)

this application process is really making people in my grade jump down each other's throats...

I'm applying with my boyfriend as well...extremely nervewracking, yes.
