Princeton Interview!!!!!!!

Hi, I just got a call for an interview with an alum in New Delhi. I’m so excited!! I wanted to know if anyone else from India has had an interview yet, with Princeton or some other school? If so how did it go? What should I expect?

Hey, I’m from bangalore. I got a mail too with the details. However I’m waiting for the interviewer to contact me.
So are you done with your interview?? How was it?

@RIndiaR Hi, yes the interviewer contacted me first as well, so I guess you should wait. I haven’t had my interview yet, it’s today evening!

Ohh, cool! How was it then?

@societal_hazard Where are you from?

@sodiumpunny Hey, I’m from Delhi, India.

I am an indian and I’ve already had an interview with Vanderbilt, UPenn and Princeton.
Princeton was the coolest and the best one. Don’t worry. It’ll be fine.

Only metropolitan candidates getting interviews then?

@sodiumpunny I don’t think so. This one person who said he/she is from a small town in Gujarat got an interview for Stanford and UPenn and a bunch of other schools.

@societal_hazard Ah, well. Didn’t think I’d get in anyway.

@sodiumpunny I didn’t get one from those schools either, but let’s not lose hope.

@societal_hazard When is the last date after which no interviews will be offered?

@social_hazard I’m an applicant form Chennai, and my interview is scheduled in a few days! What kind of questions were you asked?

@sodiumpunny Interviews are conducted till mid February for more or less all of these schools. And well, it is mid February.

@PThandu Hi, it was a very imformal chat where he asked me about my interests etc and told me about his time at Princeton. Nothing to worry about.

Princeton offers interviews to all its applicants. The interview is just an informal part. It doesn’t hold any weight unless it goes superbly well or distastertously bad.
I’m from Bhubaneswar, it’s not a metropolitan but the capital of Odisha.
I’m a deferred applicant from the SCEA for Fall 17. Can you guys post your credentials?
GPA /SAT scores/ Extracurricular/ recommendations / essays / economic background, etc?
