princeton interview

lol that's really cool, typing in orange and black..wonder how my teachers would feel about me writing my essays like that?

my interviewer doesn't know it yet, but i supported him in his bid for a board of education seat. heh, im gonna spring it on him at the interview. i wrote an article in our paper endorsing him and everything! he will recognize me...i hope!

lol that's a neat coincidence. Is it a coincidence?

hah yes, its a coincidence.

meanwhile, i havent said anything offensive yet today...hmm...

I knoww! This is like a new side of ilcapo, you're being so nice today. I'm still too shocked to enjoy it...

I think we need an a s s hole comment once in a while though =)

I called the admissions office today during my 1st hour (our school newspaper is a weekly, the Tower, so we get a period to work on it) to ask at what point I should be concerned if I haven't been contacted about an interview. The woman who answered said that alumni associations have until after Thanksgiving weekend to contact applicants, so to not worry yet. She also insinuated that the interview doesn't play much of a role, as it is optional, anyway.

Hope this helps anyone else completely paranoid about their app!

i've already told you guys that the interview doesn't matter.

Well, I already knew that too - I think everyone did. But it was nice to hear it coming directly from the source.

I don't think I would ever have the guts to call the school! So much for making connections with my regional rep...I'm too scared to talk to her >.<

lol, zante, i've emailed mine like 4 times

Yea I asked for her card and everything, but I haven't thought of any questions to ask...

I had a bad experience with mine...I met him at a college fair last month and my mom unfortunately happened to be with me...it's not that I'm "embarrassed about her"--it's that she would not let me get a word into the conversation! He kept directing questions at me, i.e. "Why did you like Princeton?"---and my *mom/i.....I was not happy....
I talked to her about it afterwords and she didn't think she'd done anything wrong: "Well, it's good for them to see that a parent is interested."

yay! my interviewer just called! Saturday's the big day. Luck, come my way! She's fresh out of Princeton ('03), so this should be fun. Good times, good times.

lol aww! good luck phil
i'm really jealous though
still nothing for me =/

I think it just takes them a while. My interviewer said she'd received the call to interview me just a couple of minutes before she called me. So I guess word is disseminating rather slowly. Here's to hoping you get what's rightfully yours! ;)

i still haven't been contacted, but i don't really want to be. i think i'll get too nervous.

where will you be meeting her philntex? If you hit up a starbucks, may I suggest a Peppermint Mocha? It's delightful =)

for my dartmouth interview i have to go to some bizarre office building during this guys business hours....seems a little odd that he is interviewing on the job - and that i have to drive so far...

ah driving
a luxury I don't have
city driving is awful =/
that and I failed my road test and was forever traumatized.

Why are you already interviewing for Dartmouth?

lol how did you fail your road test? When did you take it? I thought I'd failed mine because my parallel parking wasn't quite parallel, but the guy only counted off three points...
