I chose Princeton over Harvard. Princeton rox.

2005 thread O.o

Career wise though, I think Harvard is the better choice due to connections. Harvard got its Medical School for premed Research, Business school for Ibanking Internships, and its Law school for job oppertunities. Im sure the offices there would help you get jobs and stuff.

kosherz makes some good points aside from the fact that everything in that statement is completely false. “Im sure the offices there would help you get jobs and stuff.”-…what?

Princeton for UG, Harvard for Grad School. Done.

:D! so I am a Princeton undergrad. so my answer may be a bit biased.
But I would say Princeton! then again I do not know what you are interested in studying. However I will say that for a lot of undergraduate concentrations Princeton ALWAYS wins out over Harvard. Harvard is renowned for it’s stellar graduate programs but this detracts a lot from the undergraduate side.
Princeton is the BEST undergraduate university in the world. Seize the opportunity!

This.

Harvard!!!

^You do realize that this thread is from 2005 right?

In case anyone cared, the OP graduated Yale class of 2010.

^^That’s hilarious!

As most (admittedly not all) people choosing between H and P are emphasizing the name factor over, for example, the undergraduate quality of education factor, you should definitely attend Harvard as it has hands-down greater cache in casual conversation (although P has a greater undergraduate emphasis, it ain’t a WSAP).

Princeton has the highest endowment per student and its all about the undergrads. Its the best undergraduate education in the world, go to Harvard for law.

If princeton is so great, then why did most supreme court justices not attend it? O wait, princeton doesn’t that have a great graduate school or even a law school.

Acne is not contagious! And seriously, just because someone is smart doesn’t mean they will have acne. That is sterotypical!

^^ Samuel Alito '72, Sonia Sotomayor '76, and Elena Kagan '81 all got their undergrad degrees from Princeton.

If you were planning on a Ph.D., go Princeton undergrad, Yale grad, Harvard doctorate, or PHH works too.

Wordword - your comment is exceedingly foolish. Princeton has graduated the highest number of SCOTUS justices of any undergraduate institution in the country, including the last three as Fightthetide mentioned.
