hmmm, i find Yale and Princeton very different. Yale and Harvard are pretty similar though

Princeton has different distributional requirements, senior thesis, eating clubs, different residential college system, different type of location, only single major, i don't know it seemed a lot diff. to me

Someone in my school said he was going to roll a die to see which school to apply to early. I think he was kidding, but I mean, all the Ivies are really different from each other.

yeah, the more apps i fill out, the more i see the huge distinctions. I wonder where 'optimum point' is seen? Perfect clarity :) Then the slope degenerates thereafter, and all colleges melt into one big blur :O!

Akash, if geography matters in getting accepted, I'm definitely glad you did Harvard EA :p Though there probably still are loads of more qualified Indians.

you guys ask for recommendations yet? I gave one for princeton today. Will probably ask for the other later this week (same with counselor rec).

i gave all my recommendations out awhile ago. my teacher and guidance counselor have finished all my recommendations. one of my teachers still have 3 schools left

and sucharita, hahaha you took bio, I feel for you, I took bio for 2 months in grade 11, flunked the first exam and changed to Comp Sc. lucky me, my school let me do that :)

Hope u get into Harvard (and btw u cant beat my class 11 report it was ...ehem.. SCREWED  )
