Princeton Review, Kaplan, or Barrons? Which do you prefer?

I just wanted to start a random thread and collect opinions on each of the Test Prep listed in the title.

I like Princeton Review and Kaplan, but absolutely detest Barron's.

Anyone else?

I like PR too, but Kaplan I find too easy. I don’t like Barrons either because the writing is “dry,” so usually I stick with PR.

All I tried was Barron’s, but I found it remarkably useful.

I guess all the books are decent, but get mc graw hill’s CR and writing they have the best in my opinion, but its different for everyone so depends.

^ Yes, I agree. McGraw Hill definitely helped me out a lot. If you have a limited time, go with McGraw Hill because the books are actually geared towards people who do not have a whole year to study. PR is better for long-term studying IMO because it has a lot more details.

I support Barron’s, even if it can be boring.

which barron’s books do you guys recommend, the 2400, the workbook, or the general sat book?
