Princeton Review or Crash Course for APES

Which book is better for self-studying AP environmental science: Princeton Review or Crash Course?

I studied using the Princeton Review Prep Book for practice tests, since I felt I needed more practice with sample questions. My teacher in the class didn’t really teach us the material either, so I already felt like I was going to fail the AP exam. I also went on Quizlet during the week before and leading up to the AP exam this past year and studied a set of 700 vocab words and their definitions. Honestly the vocab was really important for FRQs to be able to articulate your point and show you knew something beyond your basic knowledge. I ended up with a 4 on the exam after using this study method. Definitely if you are self-studying, I would say read all the info in the prep book you choose to go with (I would personally choose Princeton Review) and then use the practice tests. The practice tests are your best friend in terms of being comfortable with the types of questions you will encounter on the actual exam. Good Luck!

I’ll buy Princeton Review then. Thank you so much!
