@meaa7130 If they’ve finalized everyone’s fates already it would be downright cruel to hold it back an extra week… Even if they did, I don’t see why it would require them to shutdown the checklist. Frankly I have no idea why it’s doing this.
From what I understand how things go with the Ivies, & I guess many colleges, they make the decisions & then put them together with your financial aid package. Not that you’d see your FA on the screen. (The packages are mailed out.) Just that decisions are done a week before they’re announced.
@meaa7130 - I suspect that everyone (or nearly everyone) is finalized now as you suspect. I further suspect in my Machiavellian way, that the change to this universal message (DS has it too) might be because there were multiple messages that had other meanings that were scattered on people’s portals. So let’s keep track of whose said what, and then what their answers were…
some of the state schools already have decisions but aren’t releasing til Jan. 30th if you want to talk about cruel.

@FarscapeFan My daughter was accepted SCEA in 2011. She could see the financial aid package at the time she saw her acceptance on-line. A hard copy of everything arrived via Priority Mail a day or two later.
I agree with @fretfulmother so it looks like @jasonmath @arcane25 @asappebble all got the weird incomplete message. Let’s see if their outcome is different from the rest of us. I’m not saying which way, just if it is different we can at least tell the 2021 peeps. Yep, @anon145, says checklist not available. I’m not seeing this notification on IvyWise.
My DS’ also says checklist not available. Does anyone else have any other message at this point?

I may have misunderstood @longdog . It sounded as though there may be some without the checklist not available message.

@grandscheme not sure, maybe there is a third scenario. I was thinking at this point everyone had the checklist not available but just prior to that message the other three commented they had a different message for a brief time about incomplete items.
you’d have to log in to see it. those that had the incomplete message only had it for a limited time.

Actually the FA package is on the same screen as the acceptance when you scroll down.
@MAOnemom and @planner03 are correct - you will receive details of a FA package together with the offer of admission.
I suspect that the time between decisions being made and being posted is used to finalize the packages being mailed to students who receive offers of admission. Typically they are mailed the morning admissions decisions are posted.
I wish all of you the best as you wait for decision day! I remember how hard it was to wait and how slowly the time passed. So may you be distracted this whole week by too many fun things to do, fall into bed exhausted and happy each night, and completely forget to check CC for hours on end every day!
