Princeton sibling legacy? will it help me?

hey,

so my brother is currently at princeton. Hes on full scholarship doing his PHD in economics (We're both from Australia btw.)

i know all about parent legacies and what-nots
but does having a sibling there help my chances at admission in any significant way?

cheers,

There is a thread running around here someplace that suggests siblings don't count. But if I remember the PU application they ask about siblings education. If that memory is correct then care, and then it matters in some way.

No, it doesn't matter.

Officially, it is stated it does not matter. However, if you spend any time on the campus, it becomes evident there are many siblings attending (often of parent legacies). Is this genetic, or preferential? Probably both.

If you have mid-range Princeton scores you are probably in a good position. (Even better if your brother has shown loyalty by donating something to the Campaign for Princeton, or whatever the latest fundraising push is.)
