So Yale numbers pretty much? Or do you think since its 1st year of scea they might be a bit higher?

My God, where do you guys get your info from? I just get more and more nervous cause I’ve honestly got no idea what’s going on. Thank God for this site so that I can be at least slightly aware of it all, haha :)

This is where I get all of my info from haha. I became an “expert”, if you will, like 25 mins ago.

[Ivy League Admission Statistics for Class of 2015 Hernandez College Consulting, Inc. and Ivy League Admission Help](http://www.hernandezcollegeconsulting.com/ivy-league-admissions-statistics/)

Haha, thank you. I honestly opened the webpage and my first instinct was to release a silent scream of horror at seeing all those numbers (is there any sort of dyslexia that applies only to numbers? I swear I have it). My math results are what’s killing me on the SATs and ACTs, tis terrible.

But I’ll take some time to analyze it now (or, alternatively, wait for all of you future engineering/math-related majors to simplify it for me, a mere Woody Woo hopeful). Thanks for the link :)

Hey I’m from VT too! What schools do you guys go to?

Haha. I feel the same way. But basically, since Princeton and Yale have similar class sizes, and are quite similar in terms of selectivity, my logic is that Princeton will accept a similar amount of students SCEA to the amount Yale accepted SCEA last year. That would be about a 21% admit rate since Yale had more early applicants for the class of 2015. Mind you, anything over 15% sounds way too high for Princeton so it could be lower (around 600 admits early) I’d assume anywhere from 600-800 admits this year. Just a side note, I am so far from an expert on this so don’t let my number excite or disappoint you too much.

Connecticut, anyone?

Well, thanks anyways for your approximation :)

Do you think total math ineptitude is a serious drawback? Don’t get me wrong, I still have pretty decent scores and took Honor Maths (AP was not available in my school up until last year, but I was studying in Switzerland at the time) but my college counselor told me that schools tend to be biased towards good science and math scores for some reason, and mine are pretty terrible (in standardized testing).

I’m hoping I’ll come off as “Well, her math abilities aren’t great, but she excels in the one aspect she wants to study”, haha. It’s International Relations, I feel I have a lot of backing for that.

I’m from Vermont, but go to school outside the state.

My first sat math scores were very low, and I don’t exactly jump off the page in the math department either so I’m in the same boat as you in that sense. With exceptional reading scores and subject tests, I’m sure whatever deficiencies you have in your scoring portfolio will be overlooked, especially if you are a compelling applicant. You should be fine I think.

new to CC!

do you all know how we will find out on Dec 15th?

Is princeton gonna send us an email regarding this?

^Welcome. Most probably, not. We log in to our Application Tracker and see the results.

I can’t find this anywhere on the website?!

Anyone from Wisconsin? Or the Midwest? :)

Precisely. I must be blind because I only found the link on this thread, stalked the website for ages but couldn’t find it. If anyone knows where exactly it is, do enlighten us.

This is the link: https://notify.princeton.edu/

Also, I was upset by all the trash talk when I read this thread this morning. I agree with the previous poster who asked to keep this thread positive.

@mathgirl

i know the link… but i was just wondering where people found this link…

it’s definitely not anywhere on the website

You’re absolutely right, I can’t find it either. I had gotten it from a previous post.

I found notify.princeton.edu a while back when I googled where the admissions decisions would be posted, and it was a Yahoo answers (or something like that) question from like 2010, and when I first went to it, it said something along the lines of “Sorry, admissions decisions are no longer available online.” But then sometime late last week, it changed to that notice about Dec. 15th at 4 pm EST.

MAKES ME NERVOUS JUST TYPING IT.

@dmadl92 it’s called dysnumeroplexia
