I’m so relieved many people’s quotes are from their favorite book. People told me it was a mistake but I liked the quote and book too much to change it. Not that it really matters overall but its the little comforts
yooooo @AnthropoLusion I see you with the Beat Generation literature! Kerouac, Ferlinghetti, Kesey, and the rest of the gang are super hip! Nice choice!
My graded essay is actually a research paper that I did on the Beat Generation, 1950s suburbia, and Bebop Jazz!
@Robotics2001 It’s nice to see FRC people on the Princeton thread! I feel like most people apply to schools more specifically known for engineering, like MIT and CalTech. My team’s been pretty impactful to me, so some of my application was just me going on about robots.
Good luck to everyone tomorrow! Unlike other forums, scrolling through this forum and reading your favorites(rather than stats) are surprisingly destressing

here from the yale 2023 thread… good luck to everyone! no matter what happens today, you are all going to do incredible things just because of who you are, not because of the school that accepts you. you guys got this!!
Wow, I can’t believe we find out today! I remember submitting my application and thinking, “Gosh, it’s going to take forever until these Princeton decisions come out.”
These past few months have surely been quite the journey! I’m so glad that we were able to bring life to this college process through humor and honest input. As we open our decisions today in less than 10 hours, I hope we note that today’s decision won’t necessarily reflect the quality of us as applicants, but rather Princeton’s (near random!) selection of who they believe would make a great fit…while keeping in mind that they need to admit 1,000 or so applicants RD!
I hope we all hear great news! If this won’t come today, I assure you it will come in March.
