All of my friends who go to the same school as me got the email but not me. What is this?
Did you check your spam folder?
Yeah, I did. I guess that I have to call the admissions office or something.
I’m from Pakistan and email came at 10:18 PM (20th march) and now it’s 1:01 AM (21st March).
International applicant. No email yet.
I don’t think the email is anything to worry over, really. It’s probably an automated system that randomly sends through waves. There are bigger things to worry about.
@cvisser96 You are absolutely right.
Hehe, this is kind of funny. I mean, yeah it’s a bit weird that some of us haven’t received the email yet BUT there’s no point in getting paranoid for no reason. Peace, I’m out!
Guys, stop worrying. I live maybe 10-15 min from Princeton and my name is at the beginning of the alphabet, and I got mine at like 4:50. It really doesn’t matter. It’s automated.
Got mine too, earlier today.
Just received it!
Nothing…
I got the email, everyone should get it
everyone seems to be trying to infer any whiff of yes/no from any and every possible iteration of presumed communication from PTon. Guys, go binge on some Netflix or NCCA basketball. Spinning yourselves into a lather about anything before Mar 31st is enormously fruitless, wouldn’t you agree?
What’s been done has been done. Hanging around a chat group w/anxiety ridden peers will do WHAT for you? I hear “Broadchurch” and “The IT Crowd” are something to investigate.
I am an international applicant from Pakistan. I have two questions.
• No financial aid documents request= rejection. Is this true for Princeton?
• had an interview via phone. Alumni was in USA. Called me from the US. Is this Normal since I have heard that alumni present in the region conducts interview.
@juggu96 Dunno about your first question, but I’m an international student who had a Skype interview so the whole ‘alumni in region must conduct the interview’ idea’s false.
@juggu96 Financial aid and admissions are totally separate. There are accepted students who do not apply for financial aid, so you should be fine in that regard.
The interview was probably because there were limited qualified interviewers in your area. Princeton does a remarkable job trying to reach out to every applicant it realistically can. That is probably why you were allotted a phone interview.
@cvisser96 I applied for financial aid.
@juggu96 The missing pfaa application email went out around February 12th. Did you submit the pfaa before this time?
Got the email late last night.
