***PRINCETON UNIVERSITY R.D. DISCUSSION CLASS OF 2019***

From what I understand, Princeton’s FA office works until the summer. So, since Princeton is need-blind, you could sent FA forms after an acceptance. The offices are completely separate.

I wish I knew:/ I’m in the same boat you are.

Both of my teacher recommendations are from Princeton alumni (a very lucky coincidence). How much do you guys think this will help me (if at all) in the admissions process?

@mmj133 maybe a little, but I doubt it would be a determining factor. Obviously they’ll be able to speak to how you will fit, very well. However, the bottom line is the quality of the content. What they write about you will mean the most, regardless of where their degrees are from.

You guysssss (and galssss).

We’re a week out from decisions!
Good luck everyone! I don’t know about y’all, but I’m ANXIOUS. I put so much of myself and my energy into the Princeton application.
Here’s to hoping for the best, but expecting the worst.

This place is empty 0.0

I’m eating to pass the time. How are y’all coping?

Just going through my normal routine, school, work, study, exercise.

@AnnaLuxe‌ refreshing college confidential even when the results aren’t out for a week

Does anyone know if there’s a significant breakdown of acceptance rate by school? Like for instance, does Woody Woo tend to have a lower acceptance rate?

@AnnaLuxe‌ usual routine, scholarship essays, and of course Netflix!

I applied for Penn Engineering and forgot to send in my Math 2 score. I sent in Physics and Chemistry, both of them were 800s.
Should I drop all hopes of getting in?

@cvisser96 there’s no such thing as “applying to” WWS prior to your Sophomore year at Princeton when concentrations are declared. You didn’t apply to WWS—you applied to Princeton. If you indicated WWS as your intended major, that’s great. But it has no bearing on your overall application to Princeton. WWS really just functions as a concentration—not a separate school.

Ohh perfect! I was just checking. I know some schools take intended majors (concentrations) and schools more seriously, so I wasn’t sure if there were separate cutoffs admissions considered.
Thanks @nicole625 !

What time will this decision be out?

5pm @SATandAPs

@SATandAPs‌ they said after 5PM, but I think that at 5PM it should be up!

When I checked my Columbia ED Results it was EXACTLY at 5PM. (The site even crashed because of an overload.) So I expect the same for Princeton on Tuesday.

All Ivy schools are the same, anytime from 5 PM on…

So my allegiances lie with Princeton. We’re all going to have to choose one thread to follow on Ivy Day (because cc will be agonizingly slow to follow multiple threads) lol

Princeton, accept my offer of loyalty
