Princeton University Regular Decision

Oh, oops I'm sorry, I'm still kind of new to this CC thing!

Hahah, don't worry about it :)

Most likely, you will be accepted or waitlisted. I doubt Princeton could reject you ;) but you never know. Good luck!

How many people get on the waitlist?

I think it's around 80 people. Hahha, I think I have a higher chance of being accepted or rejected rather than being waitlisted ;).

With your legacy, extra recommendation, audition, composition materials, and stats, I'm sure you will be a competitive applicant.

Thanks yale08!

What are you planning on doing over the summer?

I was accepted to attend the Third International Workshop for Young Composers, so I'll be going to that. I'm also planning on visiting France and maybe some other countries. Hahah, I'll play it by ear.

Very interesting workshop!

Thanks !

Did you ever manage to get a recording of your composition online? I'd still love to hear it. :)

Unfortunately, not yet :-/. I need one of those CD recorder things, which I don't have. But I definitely want to get one hahah.

Waitlist is only 80 people? Haha, two seniors last year at my school were waitlisted. What are the odds?

Hahah wow

That's even less likely than getting a likely letter. lol.

Hahah true

lol this thread has totally changed. Honestly, tchaikovsky you have an AWESOME chance at getting into Princeton!

Yeah, I hope to see you next year at Princeton!

tchaikovsky - If you were ELC for UCs, you must be in California. I'm just curious what part of CA, and even what high school. Sounds like an awesome high school to offer those amazing classes and ecs and to be able to progress so rapidly. If you don't want to make it public, you can PM me.

I hope you get into Princeton. UC is way too large and graduate oriented.
