Printer Question

Will it ever be a problem if our printer only prints black and white? The only situation I can think of where that could be an issue is for graphs and such for chem labs, but will that even be a problem?

If you need color I’m sure you can just print @ the library or something

Depending on your major, you can get away with no printer. I had a writing class each semester so I had to print out essay drafts but aside from that, most of my science based class GSIs didn’t care if I e-mailed my homework or lab reports.

There are also the academic services centers in the dorms if you need to print. [Academic Services Centers :: Academic Services Centers :: Unit 2](http://academicservices.berkeley.edu/computing/unit2/)

Can I print for free at those academic centers? I also heard you need some sort of copy card to print at the pay to print ones.

do you have to pay for printing (with the campus computers?) is it advisable to bring your own computer?

better to bring your own computer, unless it is a hardship. Might coordinate among roommates to be sure at least one brings a printer, then you can share costs of ink and paper.

fees at some places, such as libraries.

B&W is fine, never did I need color for papers
