printers

What kinds of printers do people have/recommend? I'm thinking a built-in copier will be very helpful and convenient.

HP and Canon make quality printers. If you do get a printer, i suggest getting one that has a built in scanner and copier in it. The HP-PSC series is pretty up to date and Canon im not sure.

I've got an HP Deskjet F4140 All-in-one that I like. Only problem is that I have to order my black ink thru HP; can't just buy it at the store. They sell a large cartitridge for it, but it's only sold on the website... cheaper than buying the smaller ones at WalMart..

I got an epson cx7400 printer/scanner/copier for $20 at best buy when I bought my laptop; I haven't tried it out yet, but I probably will in the next few days and then I'll let you know how it is

I got an HP All-In-One F4280 (printer/scanner/copier) for like $80 I think.

I'm getting a Brother laser printer.

They're compact, efficient, and you can print 5,000+ pages before buying more toner.

I also have the epson cx7400 all-in-one. I really like it and the ink is pretty cheap. My other Epson printers have lasted a long time and been pretty good. My only problem is that it is kind of loud, but there is a "quiet mode" that I haven't tried yet.

I got an HP Photosmart C7280 last November, and it's amazing. It does everything. It supports printing, scanning (both flatbed and sheet fed up to 50 pages), copying and faxing. You can either connect it directly to a computer (USB and serial) or to a network, in which case you can use a web interface for scanning or other software to connect all your computers to it. You can even connect it to a network via WiFi or directly to a computer with a Bluetooth dongle. You can also connect a USB drive/camera memory cards to the printer, and scan photos to it/print photos from it.

I got an HP Deskjet F4280 All-in-One too. Its a printer, a copier and a scanner. Apart from some initial trouble getting the cartridges installed (a process that is rather counter-intuitive), the thing was cheap and has been working great.

I got this sucker for $70 bucks at Best Buy. HP - Photosmart Multifunction Printer/ Copier/ Scanner - C5280 Doesn't fax though, but personally, I don't see why you'd need one. Or maybe you do, but I don't and couldn't anyway.

It also has these neat features for printing photos. =3

Personally, I love HP printers and prodcuts. The ink isn't expensive and lasts a while, and it's only a two cartridge system. Not that great for printing higher quality photo pictures, like the 4-6 cartridge systems can do, but what do you really need that for?

I have the same printer as jaimeastorga2000 and HisGraceFillsMe. I got it for $20 since I bought a new laptop and it works great. I don't use ink that often so I love that I can buy ink for $15.
