Prior acceptance grants greater transfer chances?

My first post here so please bear with me. Here is the run down.
I was accepted into McCombs School of Business for the class of 2022. However, due to financial reasons, I will be attending the local university. I was wondering if I were to transfer, would McComb’s consider the fact that I have been accepted before? My logic tells me they will not take that into consideration as transfers are much more competitive (from what I heard) thus prior acceptance would be irrelevant.
Anything helps, thanks in advance!

Your prior acceptance will probably not matter for a competitive school such as McCombs. The chances are, you’ll have to apply for external transfer, competitiveness, and all.

Thanks for your input.

No, and in fact you may not get into McCombs as a transfer student. Which university are you thinking to attend instead?
As a UT alum, I don’t recommend you do that.

I will be attending UT Rio Grande Valley instead. Yes, I realize my chances as a transfer are minimal but I will try applying for transfer at UT, UH, etc later on.
