If I have admissions deadlines on January 1st and 2nd, and I haven't yet sent ACT scores, would you recommend that I send priority or regular?

Sending priority would cost me 40 dollars more than regular (total), so I only want to send priority if its really necessary. But if it is, then it's worth it to me.

I shouldn't have delayed sending this long but I have serious guilt issues over spending my parents money that I should have resolved a long time ago but have never really confronted. I always feel bad when I have to ask for a large sum of money because I know they are strapped for cash. I always end up putting things like this off.

Anyway, I've decided that if you think it's a good idea to send priority I will just do it and tell my parents I'll pay for the difference myself.

ok its 11:42, so you probably already sent them, but If i'd read this thread earlier I would have told you to post the regular in most cases...most of those places are ok with scores getting there a bit late

i applied to stanford and duke (out of the list you put up above) last year, and was pretty much in the same position as you...I didn't think about sending my SAT scores until REALLY late. I agonized about whether to do regular or priority, and ended up sending them all priority (to 8 colleges in total). Turns out most of those were a waste of money...almost all of them didnt care if the scores came in late, as long as you got the main body of hte application in on time (if i remember correctly though, the stanford application was REALLY annoying b/c of all the special requirements they had for how to turn in your app...so i wouldnt be surpirsed if they were a bit more strict with the deadline...)

bottom line, if youre unsure, better to send them priority
