I have been extremely busy lately, and have not yet set my SAT scores for the five colleges I am applying to regular decision--all with January 1st deadlines. Can I send them today with regular shipping, does it matter if they get there a little later as long as they are already sent? Or should i pay the extra $100 to rush them?

I’ve heard that there’s no point in using the rush delivery–the scores arrive at the same time no matter what you do.

Right now stuff is pouring from all directions into schools with Jan 1 RD deadlines: applications, scores, letters of recommendation, transcripts, and so on. It takes awhile for the Admissions Departments to get everything sorted out into the correct files, especially because universities are closed and lots of staff people are on vacation this week. So it’s not the end of the world if your scores arrive a few days late.
