Priority Review 2013-2014?

Same for me. I sent in my midyear report last week and the box is checked off now, but I am still in step 4.

Can anyone answer this question for sure: If a priority review applicant still has not submitted the mid-year report (for whatever reason) by Feb 15, will that person be notified of an admission decision by Feb 15?

The University of Rochester’s Admissions Twitter tweeted that the PR Decision Letters are being sent out today!

@7latemodel it says PR admit letters. So do they get them before those who didn’t get in?

@woods1234 Yes. Midyear Reports are due 3/1

How long for a letter to go from Rochester to Binghamton NY???

Based on the storm that just hit most of the east coast, does anyone think that that will affect the letters? Or does the postal service just keep on goin’?

The postal service didn’t come today (I live in a very rural town in New Hampshire) but things should be better tomorrow, at least here… I’m going to guess Saturday for NH.

Jersey people. Saturday or Tuesday?

@tiva_mcabby5 @LAMuniv I think the letters are being sent through Fedex. They did that last year.

@Mmorkous96 The video they posted shows the letters in Postal Service boxes… this could still mean that they are sending them through Fedex, though, I don’t really know how this works :stuck_out_tongue: (<a href=“The PR admit letters are going out! Dean Burdick is even carrying some out the door...”>Twitpic)

Can we not check through the myroc account?

@kged13 mine still says that it’s on step 4… I’ve read elsewhere that they won’t post it online until the mail has been delivered (though, everyone’s mail is going to be delivered at different times, though, so maybe it will be posted in a day or two…)

@Mmorkous96: You replied “yes” to my question. So, you are saying PR applicants WILL get a decision by Feb 15 even if he/she didn’t submit the mid-year grades yet, correct?

@woods1234 I know that the question wasn’t addressed to me, but yes, he/she will.

@woods1234 Yes, that’s correct.

Interested to see the result, but ultimately it doesn’t make a difference since D just got accepted ED2 elsewhere. I am kind of curious if she got a merit award, but that might just depress me.

@Mmorkous96, @LAMuniv,: Thanks both of you. It is a little strange that they “require” the mid-year grades by Mar 1 even though decisions are announced for PR applicants two weeks prior to that deadline…

@woods1234 I believe all schools require midyear reports (even if you apply ED) to either factor in to admission decisions or to make sure that you’re keeping up your grades even after a decision has been made.

How long do you guys think it will take to reach California? 0,0 Will it come by Saturday?
