Priority Wait-list Decisions

Has anyone who's on the priority wait-lists to the different schools heard anything regarding their decision yet? I know CMU will inform us May 6, but maybe some have been released earlier?

Also, any news as to what the priority wait-list admit rate will be like this year?

Thanks.

I'm on SCS priority wait-list, by the way.

I got a letter in the mail today with enrollment reply forms “in the event that I am admitted from the Priority Waiting-List.”

The letter says I will receive a call from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm on Tuesday, May 5th with my admissions decision.

Oh wow. I’m an international student, so I doubt that will happen for me. I haven’t received anything, hmm. I suppose they will send me an email then. Thanks for your reply.

quantize,

Did the admissions office send you an email?

nope, no e-mail.

What info was in the enrollment forms? I suppose there should be a method to enroll and pay the deposit online, right?

They mailed me enrollment forms and a credit card form. I suspect it’s different for internationals.

I had a question about the priority waitlist;

In case if we get admitted from the priority waitlist, how do we actually pay? theres no online payment right? so do we have to post a bank check in 24h? OR, is it enough for the bank check to be POSTMARKED May 6th?

please answer this, I’m so confused

I don’t understand why you guys are relying on this website for something so important when all you need to do is pick up the phone and call the admissions office. I am sure they would be happy to tell you.

I called the UG office yesterday and the lady told me that decisions will be out “evening of May 5th”, and that candidates in the U.S. may receive calls/emails, and international students will only be emailed. The payment can either be faxed or submitted online. Instructions will be on the acceptance letter.

Hope this helps clear some things up.

^ “Fax the payment?” Hmmm, do you need to fax both front and back of the Ben Franklin bills?

Uh. no. I meant you fax your credit card information.

oh i didnt know there was online payment
