<p>I applied to U Washington - Seattle before December 1 to make it to the priority deadline. My question is, does anybody have any idea when we hear back? Some of my friends from the same school have already been accepted to the UW although they did not apply priority.</p>

<p>yeah i applied by priority too, and by status as changed from “we’ve received all materials” since November 30th. </p>

<p>It varies. The latest you should receive an answer is by April.</p>
<p>On my application status, it says “We have reviewed your application. We will inform you by postal mail when a decision is made.” This was updated on February 24. </p>
<p>Does this mean they won’t send an email to me first telling me whether or not I got in? I don’t live in the States so receiving a postal mail sure is going to take ages…</p>
<p>I applied before the priority deadline too (on Nov. 30 so it wasn’t much before…) and my application is still at “We have received…” since January 7th.</p>
<p>Maybe after March 5 when admissions is done with the marathon of application reviews that they’re closed for those of us that applied priority and haven’t heard yet will finally get an answer.</p>

<p>It’s pretty annoying, but they’re so unpredictable with their admissions. I know people who applied after me who have heard back already. Guess there’s nothing else we can do but continue to wait…</p>
<p>S2 applied January 15, admitted 3 weeks later. Who knows what is going on.</p>
