Private loan question

So both of my parents have both refused to sign a private loan for me, and without it, I will be unable to attend college this next semester. Is there ANY private lender that will give a private loan to a student with little/no credit history? I’m just desperate because I will not be able to go back to my university if I don’t get this figured out.

Thanks.

No.

Find and transfer to a cheaper school. There are some community colleges that offer bachelor’s degrees.

How about your school?

I agree with @4kidsdad, contact your financial aid office at your school.

You are returning to a college? How did you pay for it LAST year?

How much loan money do you need?

Are you transferring to a more expensive school?
Or did you attend this school last year, and now your parents won’t cosign more loans?

How was school paid for last year? How much in loans were consigned last year?

How much do you need in loans?

ARe you a rising soph?

You posted this last Sept…so you were a student last year… How many years have you been in college and what was paying for your previous semesters.

Are you still premed?

Tell us exactly what is going on…

How long you’ve been in college

Who has been paying for college up until now

How much in private loans has been taken already?

Why do you suddenly not have funding for college.

Are you going to a school that gives lousy aid?

Can you go to a CC this next year?

Hello! First time poster, long time lurker.

Recently, I have made the decision to change my major to the Pre-Med major. I should have started out with this major as it’s something I’ve been interested in for a long long time, but due to personal reasons I did not.

Anyways. Next semester will be my first semester in these courses towards that major, and my question is in the mean time, what are some things I should be looking over? I know it’s science heavy obviously, but are there any miscellaneous things that you would have found helpful back then? (i.e., medical terminology, book on speciality I’m interested in, etc)

Just trying to get a head start!! Thanks so much in advance

What’s “the Pre-Med major”?

S/he was told last year that premed isn’t a major. Hopefully, instead, just added premed prereqs if s/he still had that goal.

You can major in anything to be premed as long as you take the requisite courses for med school admissions.

By back to the question of the day…why is this an issue now? Who paid for your college last year?
