Private School diplomas

What College accepts private School diplomas with no problems?

No college or university cares about your high school diploma. What they care about is your academic transcript that lists the classes you have taken and the grades you have earned.

What kind of problems are you expecting? Is your school accredited?

Is your private HS not accredited? Look at the admission requirements at specific schools you are interested in. I used to work at a university and we had specific requirements for those who were homeschooled or attended a non-accredited HS. We required a minimum ACT/SAT score, or that applicants take the GED.

I’m having a hard time getting my High School Transcripts from the School because the School no longer exists. I have my Diploma, its been a dead end trying to get my Transcripts to attend college. What would you suggest?

So can i take the SAT test again?

What sort of school was this? US or other country? There’s usually a requirement that records be transferred somewhere. Maybe you call the local Board of Education or the school district for the area this was in. Ask them for ideas. Ask to speak with the right person.

Some colleges and universities will admit atudents who they consider to be college-ready without standard documentation. So go head and contact the places that interest you and ask them given this special situation. Most community colleges will enroll anyone who is at least 18 provided the person does well enough on the CC’s placement tests. Similar policies might also be in place at your public universities, ask them too.

Where you might have difficulty is with financial aid. You ned to have completed high school or the equivalent such as passing the GED exams in order to file the FAFSA. Make certain that your high school diploma is recognized for that.
