Problem w.Teacher Eval: Online vs. paper

Hey there.
At my high school, the guidance office requires that couselor and teacher evaluation forms be printed and completed by hand, and then mailed to the college of choice.

However, I am now about to submit my Common Application online as the colleges request, and I have hit a big wall because the CommonApp website declares that my school forms section is incomplete - the kicker here is that in the HELP section, the website specifically states that school forms ARE NOT a factor when it comes to the completion of the Online Application for this very reason: that some teachers need to do it by hand even if the college needs it online.

Can anyone shed some light on this topic?

Don’t worry, be happy. geek_son ran into the same thing. His GC called the college to see whether they’d received the paper forms; they had, and they considered his application complete. But the Common App Web site doesn’t have any way of knowing what’s been sent in the mail, so it will continue to say the application is incomplete. As long as everything you submit online is, well, submitted… you’re fine.

And most colleges will contact you within (usually) a couple of weeks if there’s anything missing from your application, or you can just call the Admissions Office after a couple of weeks and ask them whether your file is complete.
