Hi guys, I just checked my email and found out that there were some incorrect information on my cal grant. I’m currently attending a community college and looking to transfer next fall. However, on the Cal Grant website under the “Current School of Attendance” it’s showing up that I’m attending UC Davis, which is not my current school!
What should I do right now?

If I try to “Request a School Change TO a New School” there’s this warning message saying:
“You have requested a school change to an institution that can not pay your type of cal grant award the California community college transfer entitlement award can only be paid at bachelor’s degree-granting institution in addition you must be paid at least one term of each academic year at a BDGI or the award may be withdrawn”
Does that mean I will lose my Cal Grant? What happens when I transfer?
I’m really lost as to what I should do. Please help! thank you!

Contact the California Student Aid Commission and ask for help: (888) CA GRANT (888-224-7268).
Assuming everything was timely filed, I’m sure next year’s Cal Grant is fine. But if there’s any error that needs to be corrected, they’ll be able to help you.
